Knitted in Hawick
The mill has been finishing knitwear in the same soft water since the 1860s. It is the actual reason the hand feels the way it does, and the reason we have never moved the order.

Chain-stitched so the leg ropes properly after a year. Soak them once, wear them hard, wash them rarely. They will look like yours by spring.

Permanent
Twelve pieces we keep in stock year round. Same mills, same cuts, restocked rather than redesigned.
Autumn / Winter
Lofted knits, quilted liners and a topcoat cut long enough to sit down in. Built for a wet, grey winter.
Year round
Waxed cotton, double knees and bar tacks. Patterned off a 1950s utility catalogue, graded for a modern body.
Limited
A small run of technical pieces for moving between places. Packable, water resistant, quiet.
Ground, tracked, and packed in a paper mailer. Express and overnight available at checkout.
Unworn, tags on, return label in the box. Exchanges ship the day we scan the parcel.
Core pieces keep the same pattern and the same mill year to year. Replace one item, not the outfit.
Every product page names the town it was made in. No blended supply chains we cannot explain.
