About this piece

The tee we build everything else around. Knitted on vintage loopwheel machines in Wakayama at a rate of about one metre an hour, which is slow enough that the fabric comes off the machine with no side seam and almost no tension in the yarn. It softens without collapsing and the hem stays flat after washing.
